Incredible Biography of The Great king of Hawai'i HRM Edmund Keli'i Silva, Jr

HRM Dr. Edmund Keli Silva,Jr

His Majesty, EDMUND KELI‘I PAKI-SILVA JR., Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī (The Great King)

closely resembles his direct ancestor, Kamehameha the Great. Not only is there a close physical resemblance, but there is a fierceness in spirit that is present. They both have the same determination of a warrior King protecting and uniting their people.

There are many claiming to be the King or Queen of Hawai‘i, but they are self-appointed. There is only one King who was asked to serve and that is King Paki-Silva.

The Emblem of The Kingdom of Hawai'i.

          Hawai‘i is a Sacred Place

The Kingdom of Hawai‘i is a very significant place. It is not defined by man. It is not a territory to be disputed for ownership. It is the ‘Aina, the Land, given in ancient times as a home for the Iwi Kupunas (descendants of our Ancestors) and Citizens of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i. Those born here feel the land even when they are away. It is part of who they are. The Mana, the energy of creation, rises from the earth, through the People, then connects to Akua in the great Way of Knowing.

Spiritual Hawai

Since ancient times, the people who found their way to the Hawaiian Archipelago have been strong, fierce, persistent and determined. It was not an easy place to find. Located in the center of the Pacific Ocean, the first to come had to be very gifted in sailing, reading the signs of the ocean birds, the currents and the sky, and to have great courage. These traits carry over into The Kingdom of Hawai‘i today. Ancient traditions and culture bring forward tremendous belief in spirit as well as humankind’s connection directly to the ‘Aina (land) and all living things.
The Indigenous traditions of the Kanaka Maoli include connecting to Akua (Creator) through the Way of Knowing. The mind includes the subconscious, the conscious and the super conscious. The ancient belief which continues today is that the subconscious has a pathway that can be established which bypasses the conscious and connects directly to the superconscious. The superconscious connection then opens up to flow from Akua (Creator). This allows dream time activity, self-comprehension for the individual’s purpose in life, and for ongoing direction, inspiration and verification of truth. This connection is the Mana Pathway.
Mana is the energy that exists in all things. The Mana Pathway allows the flow of that energy into the individual, through them and then to Akua (Creator). In this way, it is said that the “Mana is rising”.
This tremendous flow of energy leaves people glowing when they visit Hawai‘i. Many leave and count down the days until they can come again. For those fortunate to live permanently as Citizens of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i, this flow becomes part of existence, taught to them as small children and impacting their life.
This connection together allows the expression of love among the People. This is an all-encompassing love, a compassion, a respect, and an affection for all. This is Aloha. It is difficult to describe, but anyone experiencing it knows that it feels wonderful.

Per ancient protocol in selecting a King, descendants of the original members of the House of Nobles as established by King Kamehameha III, selected Edmund Keli‘i Silva Jr. to reign as Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī, High Chief and King of and for The Kingdom of Hawaii. His Royal Genealogy goes back to the beginning of time in a long line of Kings and High Chiefs before King Kamehameha the Great united the Hawaiian Islands as The Kingdom of Hawai'i. His lineage is also popularly known as that of King Kekaulike, the King of Maui and the father of Kamehameha Nui ‘Ai Lu‘au, his 6th generation great grandfather. The Maui Kingdom was ancient Hawai’i’s most powerful and significant Kingdom. It comprised the most undisputed Divine Royal Lineage whose origins derived from the most ancient birthrights (Niau pio, or sanctified lines) of all of Hawai‘i. (See more in the Royal Biography below.)

On November 22, 2002, the Prime Minister, Council of Regency, Na Kupuna Council O‘Hawai‘i Nei and Na Kupuna Council Hawai‘i Moku (Royal Kupuna House of Nobles) proclaimed Edmund K. Silva Jr. to be the lawful successor and Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī (High Chief and King) of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i.

Queen Emma prophesied that a sacred child (Niau pio, or sanctified lines) would come forward to restore The Kingdom of Hawaii. It was determined by the Council that Edmund Keli‘i Silva Jr. was that child and Mikahala Roy, the King’s royal Kapuna, announced the King’s sacred Hawaiian name to be:

The King now indicates his name as King Paki-Silva in every day Kingdom matters to honor his heritage and sacred name which came from the Paki line of his ancestry.
The King holds a law degree and has been a Federal Judge for the Aniyvwiya Cherokee Nation. This legal experience has served him well as he works towards restoration of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i as the country it has always been.
The United States participated in the 1933 Montevideo Convention on Rights and Duties of States where a common definition of a country was determined. In Article 1 it defines a country (state) under international law as possessing four qualifications – a permanent population, a defined territory, a government and the capacity to enter into relations with other states. The King has further strengthened the country’s status by initiating Treaties with other countries, reorganizing the government into a modern format based on ancient traditions, actively working with Kingdom business around the world and being recognized globally as the dedicated leader of the Kingdom of Hawai‘i.
